Who We Are

Spring Rains Developments is an agency that provides a compassionate Hand-Up to those who are entrapped in poverty in developing countries.

Our organization is a Canadian Government recognized non-profit organization that was established in 2004. In its essence, the organization is focused on providing the catalytic means whereby local communities in developing countries can tackle their poverty. For example, Spring Rains has provided the credit needed to start a Medical Clinic in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan (see completed projects). Today that loan is being repaid and will in-turn be used to fund other business start-ups.

Several individuals who have experienced success in their particular disciplines have identified with the organization. They recognize Spring Rains as a vehicle through which they can confidently channel their financial compassion with the assurance that what they give literally goes to the people in need. For example, no Spring Rains' personnel draws a salary from the donations contributed by donors.

Spring Rains'  stated-Purposes as articulated in their Bylaws mirror 2015 Millennium Development Goals established by the United Nations and supported by the Canadian International Development Agency (see About - Purpose).
