The Purpose
Spring Rains Developments exists to help those entrapped in poverty with a passionate desire to provide the impetus whereby local communities can literally free themselves from their impoverishment.True, although we cannot solve all of the world's poverty we can be a contributor to a movement that is gathering strength amongst legitimate NGO's in the developed world. We have thrown our hat into the ring with the worldwide legion of NGO's who have committed to contribute to the realization of the Millennium goals of the United Nations both in Canada and in developing nations. This is what we are striving to contribute to:
a. Extreme poverty and hunger being eradicated.
b. Primary education being provided.
c. Gender equality and empowerment of women encouraged.
d. Child mortality reduced.
e. Material health improved.
f. HIV/AIDS, malaria and other diseases combatted.
g. Employment that is friendly to the environment being developed.
